A bill to provide humanitarian relief to the Venezuelan people and Venezuelan migrants, to advance a constitutional and democratic solution to Venezuela's political crisis, to address Venezuela's economic reconstruction, to combat public corruption, narcotics trafficking, and money laundering, and for other purposes.
Venezuela Humanitarian Relief, Reconstruction, and Rule of Law Act of 2018 This bill provides for humanitarian aid for the people of Venezuela, in light of the humanitarian and political crisis there. It also provides for (1) sanctions against those responsible for corruption and narcotics trafficking in Venezuela, (2) efforts to help rebuild the country's infrastructure and restructure its debt, and (3) efforts to otherwise address the humanitarian and political crisis.
