To prohibit the Secretary of Health and Human Services from taking certain actions with respect to Medicaid supplemental payments reporting requirements, and for other purposes.
This bill prohibits the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from finalizing or otherwise implementing the proposed rule titled Medicaid Program; Medicaid Fiscal Accountability Regulation , published on November 18, 2019, until two years after the last day of the public health emergency relating to COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019). The proposed rule establishes new reporting requirements for states with respect to supplemental payments and upper payment limits under Medicaid and generally modifies requirements relating to state Medicaid financing.
