Smart Border Protection Act This bill authorizes additional appropriations for U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the General Services Administration (GSA) for operations and infrastructure at ports of entry. Specifically, the bill authorizes additional appropriations for (1) hiring personnel for CBP operations at ports of entry; and (2) procuring, deploying, installing, maintaining, and operating screening technology at CBP ports of entry.
