This legislation mandates that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) undertake a comprehensive review of its existing rules pertaining to fixed, mobile, and earth exploration satellite services. The primary objective of this review is to ascertain whether modifications to these regulations could be made, under the FCC's current authority, to actively promote the advancement and adoption of precision agriculture technologies. Following this assessment, if the FCC identifies viable rule changes, it is then required to develop specific recommendations for their implementation. Ultimately, the Commission must submit a detailed report to both the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation within 15 months of the Act's enactment, outlining the review's findings and any proposed rule changes.
