The Enhancing Administrative Reviews for Broadband Deployment Act mandates that the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture conduct a comprehensive study within their respective departments. This study aims to identify programmatic and administrative barriers that hinder the timely review of requests for communications use authorizations on public lands and National Forest System land. It will also explore potential revisions to existing rules and regulations to enhance efficiency and establish processes for prioritizing these critical review requests. Following the study, the Secretaries are required to jointly submit a report to appropriate congressional committees within one year of the Act's enactment.
