It authorizes the use of funds from the Airport and Airway Trust Fund to cover all FAA activities if a regular appropriation measure or continuing resolution is not enacted. This includes critical accounts such as Operations, Facilities and Equipment, Research, Engineering, and Development, and Grants-in-Aid for Airports. The funding provided under this act would be available from the first day of an appropriations lapse until a new appropriation bill or continuing resolution becomes law.
